Tiffany, the queen of 1980s teen pop and mall tours, checked out '80s musical Rock of Ages on Broadway last fall, and the singer will soon be back to get in on the action! On July 26, the former pop princess will take to the stage of the Helen Hayes Theatre after the show to rock out on her hit song “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
Tiffany has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and scored hits like “I Think We’re Alone Now,” “Could’ve Been” and “All This Time.” In March 2011 she released her eighth studio album, Rose Tattoo, and will kick off a summer tour with fellow ’80s sensation Debbie Gibson, with whom she recently starred in the Syfy movie Mega Python vs Gatoroid. Other screen credits include Mega Piranha, opposite Barry Williams of Brady Bunch fame, and TV shows like How I Met Your Mother.
Rock of Ages currently stars Rebecca Faulkenberry, Dan Domenech, MiG Ayesa, Mitchell Jarvis, Adam Dannheisser, Cody Scott Lancaster, Michele Mais, Josephine Rose Roberts and Paul Schoeffler. The show is set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, where small town girl Sherrie meets a big city rocker at the Bourbon Room, L.A.’s most famous rock club. Their love story is told through the hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Asia, Whitesnake and many more.
